The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of watching TV and Computer on Physical activity and Self-efficacy in Children. For accomplishing this purpose of the study, 199 Children were collected by stratified purposeful sampling method. The contents of the questionnaire were modified to the previous researches of Choi, su-jeon(1998) and Lee, jeong-im(2001). We calculated average physical activity by using pedometer to record step count for a week. In order to verify Self-efficacy, Physical activity self-efficacy scale, Social self-efficacy scale were used. multiple regression analysis after one-way ANOVA and correlation Analysis were carried out multiple regression analysis after one-way ANOVA and correlation Analysis and scheffe if needed. The statistical techniques used for the analysis of this study were one-way ANOVA, multiple regression analysis by using SPSS WIN 15.0 version. The implications of this study are as follows; There was significantly gender difference in Watching Tv/spending time in computer between Self-efficacy and Physical activity. Watching Tv/spending time in computer statistically affected Self-efficacy and Physical activity. Watching Tv/spending time in computer and physical activity statistically affected self-efficacy and but not to social-efficacy (sub-factor of self- efficacy).
