In this article, I have analysed constructs of situation model(Kintsch 1998) in listening comprehension for highschool students. Situation models produced by 80 students assessed according to qualities and then processed by correlation analysis(r=.374, p<.05). As a consequence of this, it has been proved that the quality of situation model construction correlated to the extent of listening comprehension.
In this study, two variables have been set in the course of listening. One of two factors which taken into consideration in this study is video presentation which attributes to medium of the input, the other factor is memo which attributes of the individual listener factors. In the testing of comprehension, it has been proved that two factors have worked. But in the construction of situation model, memo is the one factor has correlation to the quality of it. In any case, it is vague which factor is prominent.
Quality analysis have been done for the situation models. There are features variable to the class which differ from parameters. And 5 qualities have been scrutinized.
All the results which this study have gained would be implicative for listening teaching and its relevant action research.
