Dosolga is known as a movement words of the Silla, but it"s original name is not examined. This thesis is aim to clarify the original name and it"s function. It is necessary to interpret the Chronicles of the Three States correctly to do it.
The original name of Dosolga is Dosalpuri, and the word Do in Dosolga means government office. So Dosolga means a movement words, Salpuri means religious ritual, and Dosalpuri means Court ritual.
The Court ritual of King Yuri in Silla hand down through the King Kyoungdeok, and the Koryo Dynasty and to the Joseon Dynasty. And the Dosolga which is held in the introductory part in Court ritual of Silla hand down to the Court ritual of Joseon as well.
