This paper aims to to identify the Buddhistic chapter of characteristics of「Dosolga」by Wolmyeongsa.
「Dosolga」contains two points of Buddhism and Confucianism. It has Buddhistic point in terms of wishing for coming of Mireugbul and has Confucian point in terms of praising of King Gyeongdeok. Buddhism is appeared on its exterior and Confucianism is linked to it in terms of interior entity. However, the character of chapter of「Dosolga」does not consist of praising of King Gyeongdeok only. The chapter basically consists of the praising and the canon. The characteristics of canon are found in Dosolga also.
「Jemangmaega」(Deceased Sister Memorial Song) and「Dosolga」are the representative works by Wolmyeongsa in 8th Century. In「Jemangmaega」, the recognition of salvation is sung through the problem of death.「Dosolga」 is a song that dreams coming of reasonable King that is symbolized as Mereukbul. Both「Jemangmaega」 and「Dosolga」are the songs related to the salvation of then-current society. These two songs contains the pledges of Wolmyeongsa who breathed the history of literature in Mid Shilla Dynasty in 8th Century. However,「Doslag」a differs from Jemangmaega in terms of having strong groupcharacteristics.
