Jungjae Kimhwang was great Confucian scholar who made final settlement of classics written in Chinese.
Jungjae has been born with a excellent talent, and has laid the foundation of studies by Maseo, who was his father. On that foundation, Jungjae has met great scholar, Meonwu Gwagjongseok and has gotten the correct course of studies. Jungjae has developed his studies by ceaseless argumentation with Huibong Hagyeomjin and Libam Namjungu, At long last Jungjae has achieved great studies.
Junjae has never been engaged at anther works except studies for a while. He was a typical scholar who devoted himself to study and education. However he never was a effeminate scholar who escaped from reality. He had both knowledge and conduct. If he had met the state of national emergency, he probably could raise an defence army risking his life.
He have never gone down to the huge sea of Confucian classics, and he have never adhered to past doctrines. he has issued trailblazing theories by lucid judgement and systematic logic.
He asserted that Eea, one of the Thirteen Confucian Classics, couldn’t be approved Confucian Classics and the Historical Records which many scholars have revered as the model of the history books had many descriptive faults, and the viewpoint of Samachun was very wrong. These assertions have not appeared until Jungjae asserted.
When he wrote his works, he never minded the rhetorical device, because his proses was plain and particular. his poems was graceful and deep. the number of his poems was 2460, and his proses was 4051. His works was very abundance, there was no one whoever can not be antagostic to Jungjae.
Jungjae has written 23 kinds of works chiefly concerned with Confucian Classics and history. For a few days ahead, if new scholars will study deeply the study of Jungjae, then the study of Jungjae will establish.
