Laoshe is a very famous author in Chinese literature history. He has got his own creative thought, and is called ‘living legend’, a survivor who found fame in the late 30s, enraptured the China with his flamboyance, imagination and pure talent in the 40s and 60s. Especially, his novel 『Luotuoxiangzi』 and drama 『Tea House』 are known for the passion of th day in china 30s, 40s.
This paper is to analyze his tragedy thought and chinese history, with three times 〈Wushu political change〉, 〈Yuanshikai〉, 〈Japanese surrender〉. The modern history of China has passed the culturally dark period through the Republican Revolution of 1911, the May Forth New Culture Movement, and a Japan aggressive war. Laoshe is through the drama presented Chinese history, culture. While above the half of his should have to be submitted for censorship by the reason of sensitively being engaged in the politics. He took the leader in pursing the drama with the lives of Chinese people in his imagination and pure talent.
This paper examines the sites of institutional routes for the chinese drama and the literature in modern china history. In addition, Laoshe embodies politics of creation and creative possibility which overthrow the his drama 『Tea House』.
