The purpose of this study was to elicit suggestions by comparing and analyzing what difference there is in the perception of employment and the degree of preparation for it among 2-year and 4-year college students majoring in physical education-sports according to demographical characteristics. For data analysis, 629 questionnaires were sampled using the purposive sampling method. Based on the results of analysis, the following implications were elicited:
First, it is necessary to convince students of their own aptitude or interest. Second, it is necessary to reinforce job guidance services such as job counseling, taking a course in subjects relating to job preparation and the like so that they may prepare for jobs in a timely way under their self-initiative. Third, colleges should establish and operate the active PR program so that students may make practical use of diverse services and programs in their colleges. Fourth, colleges should consider a variety of support methods such as periodical workshop or information provision and etc. so that professors may reinforce their employment guidance capability. Fifth, professors should devote more time to listening to students' worry about employment by increasing the frequency of counseling with them. Six, it is necessary to make up the educational content corresponding to students' needs as well as the knowledge required in society so that they may enhance competitiveness. Seventh, it is necessary to systematize and integrate the employment support system.
