This research, whose participants are 247 students who took winter skiing class in S women's university located in Seoul, aims to examine how a female college student's motivation to participate in skiing class affects exercise emotion and a sense of self-accomplishment. The surveys on the motivation for participation and emotion were conducted before the skiing class, and emotion and a sense of self-accomplishment were analyzed after the class. The analysis of data was done by Paired-t verification and Multiple Regression Analysis based on progressive input. With this means of analysis and descriptive statistics of the survey, the relation between emotion and a sense of self-accomplishment resulted by the motivation for participation was analyzed. According to the result of the analysis on the motivation for participating before the skiing class, following pleasure were motivation to learn, pursuit of purification, desire for friendship, and physical strength. As to the priorities in a sense of self-accomplishment, development of competitiveness was followed by completion of aiming desire and fulfillment of ability. According to the regression analysis on the correlation between motivation for participating and a sense of self-accomplishment, pleasure has an influence on fulfillment of ability, pursuit of purification and motivation to learn on development of competitiveness, and motivation to learn and physical strength on completion of aim and desire. As to the change in exercise emotion before and after the skiing class, pleasure, pride, vitality, and a sense of achievement highly improved after the class while a sense of purification greatly lowered. As a final consequence of the analysis on how motivation for participating in skiing class affects exercise emotion, pursuit of purification and pleasure have a meaningful effect on a sense of fun, pride, and purification while pursuit of purification and physical strength significantly affect vitality and a sense of achievement.
