When the positive pause of verb is applied to a sentence, it does not change into the given context. In some case, which use the negative pause opposed to the positive pause, it does.
ex) I ate breakfast and I went to school.
→ I didn't eat breakfast and I went to school.
In some cases, it cannot use the negative pause when one changes the context or does not changes the state of words.
ex) I got up in the morning and I went to school.
→ * I didn't get up in the morning and I went to school.
I think this is related to the function of verbal pauses used in a sentence. So, I sort from the verbal pause applied to a sentence, and show the oppositional relation in the positive and negative pause of verb.
ex) I ate breakfast and I went to school.
