This thesis is to study Chronology of Hezekiah reform, regnal time. It is difficult to fix a chronology of the Old Testament times. Historical Books is written by his period's scribal pattern, so to assume that period of Bible is not easy. Hezekiah's chronological problem is that when he is come to be king, Assyria Sennacherib invades Judah, and when he reforms cult practises, act a cult centralisation. Also Cult Centralisation is to be before or after the Assyria invasion.
It is difficult to study Old Testament's chronology. To settle chronology is not easy, because it is written by the scribe style of Old Testament. Hezekiah period's time problem is that when Assyria invaded, Hezekiah came to be king, he reformed the religious, and made a cult centralization.
The debate on the cult centralization appears in before or after the invasion. The conclusion comes that Historicity of Hezekiah's reform is questioned by chronology of Hezekiah. He governed from 715 to 686 B.C.
It will be argued that Hezekiah many times performed the cult centralization, Whether the purpose of cult reform is political or religious is the problem. We insist to have duel purpose, cult centered both before and after the invasion.
we seek to find the writing pattern of Dtr Books. That book's purpose is to reveal the theology of other nation's invasion. According to Deuteronomy theology, if the Torah was obeyed, then they were blessed. If not obeyed then invaded. But although the Torah was obeyed, invasion case is to save last, so Jerusalem everlasting tradition develops.
This thesis clarifies that there is a Historicity of Hezekiah's period, the historical book of Old Testament is revealed by the theology of Dtr.
