Urban regeneration is the new paradigm of urban policy, and it comprises not only improvement of physical environments but also enhancement of socio-economic situations.
The community based urban regeneration is the main streams of the developed nation’s urban regeneration strategy. But the partnership for urban regeneration project or program is not established in Korea. So, this study focus on the introduction of partnership for urban regeneration which is adaptable for our urban situation and system. The significance of this study is summerised 4 conclusions. First community based partnership system is the core factor of urban regeneration strategy of creative city. Second, the partnership of urban regeneration must be supported single budget fund for package project. Third, the partnership for urban regeneration should be brought up as the social business part through the institutional funds. Fourth, the partnership of urban regeneration is promoted and certified by legal standard.
