Wesley was indeed an educational philosopher and innovator. His philosophy of education is readily documented in his Journals and Sermons. However, his philosophy of education is embodied in the Kingswood School established by Wesley himself near the town of Bristol in England. This article not only chronicles the establishment and formation of the Kingswood school, but extrapolates lessons from its legacy for modern Christian schools.
