This paper took a deep consideration to explain post-modern families's type and aspect of short-stories by Yoon, Sung-hee, Especially, this paper based on the short-stories 〈Hi! Pisces 안녕! 물고기자리〉, 〈Bong-ja's cookshop 봉자네 분식집〉, 〈They buried the treasure-map at the point of U-turn 유턴지점에 보물지도를 묻다〉 and 〈Bye, see you later 잘 가, 또 보자〉. These short-stories not only criticize the ideology of modem families but also newly conceived and form the boundary and concept of modem families.
This paper analyses the families in short-stories not single-collective based on intimate kinship but multi-collective based on strange relationship. The hurted and isolated confess trauma, apportion food, work through cooking. This paper describes these process by the method of forming confluent collective possessed horizontal solidarity' quality. In specialty, their relationships based on the confluent love featuring dialogue and consultation. These characters form hybrid family as confluent-collective through confession and consolation of trauma. Besides, these horizontal solidarity are not subject to capital and country and enjoy a labor itself. And it is actively given body to shopping and cooking.
This paper analyse the special form and quality that characters in Yoon, Sung-bee's short-stories depart from modem families based on blood relation and form the model of post-modem families. In a word, these characters can be the man of the house, the cook, father, mother, brother, sister, the wife and the husband at the same time. Their role are exchanged equally, and also can metamorphosis through various cooking everytime. Yoon, Sung-hee's characters are newly formed from square table into round table, from family into mouths to feed, from blood relation collective into bossam collective. In conclusion, the study of post-modem hybrid family models latent in Yam, Sung-hee's short-stories provide differently approach opportunities about family-narrative.
