In this paper what the writer discusses are as follows;
1. In Korean when the consonants ‘ㅁ(m)’and ‘ㄱ(g)’ are connected directly in the middle of a word, we can see two kinds of change. Those are a. the consonant ‘ㅁ(m)’ changes into velar ‘ㅇ(ŋ)’ by the influence of ‘ㄱ’(g) and b. the consonant ‘ㄱ(g)’ is omitted between voiced sounds.
2. According to this trend the verb simgeu(to plant)can change into singgeu- and simeu-
