It is well known factor that individual learning style is hard to change when that style is based on personal knowledge or cultural background. However, according to Oxford, if learners are able to combine their own learning style with other learning styles, it can lead to a great improvement of acquisition. Oxford states that this stage is ‘Style Stretching` and Oxford also suggests that it could lead to an increased chance of finding an effective way of second language acquisition. SLA studies can be divided in to two major branches of opinions. One is to explain the method of how learners can understand a second language and the other is how teachers can effectively teach learners a second language which is also known as educational position. There are opinions that these two methods should clearly be distinct from one another (白畑, 2004). To research and develop an efficient way of Kanji teaching to learners, since it is my opinion that it is important to know how learners are acquiring the knowledge of Kanji, surveys were conducted to KNS and JNS. KNS and JNS data have been collected, analyzed and correlated. In This survey led to conclusions that KNS and JNS are both visual styles. And also correlation analysis showed that correlation on visual style and auditory style are by correlation coefficient. Based on my finding, I would like to suggest following through with future studies. First of all, when teacher introduces new Kanji to learners, she ought to use visual and auditory effects on learners for their teaching method. After teacher affectively apply visual and auditory effects on new Kanji, it is best to ad a haptic effect to teaching method. When the teacher introduces new Kanji to the learner, the learner can be very stressed by the shape, sound, meaning and writing of Kanji. If the learner never had the chance to face Kanji in his life, the stress must doubled. As Oxford mentioned, when teaching Kanji, the teacher must understand the learner’s learning style and then the teacher must adapt and modify her teaching method to the student’s learning style and introduce new methods for the students to follow.
