The purpose of this particular research was to present a specialized resort development strategy suited for the local environment, and as a result it reached the following conclusions.
First, for the development of a specialized Korean-type resort, local residents have to utilize their natural agricultural town and fishing town resources autonomously, forming a new type of resort called agricultural fishing resort by interacting with urban dwellers.
Second, for the development of resorts through the use of local resources, all the local human and material resources have to be broadly utilized. For the utilization of material resources, natural and historical environments that the area possesses must be utilized to its full potential as for the utilization of human resources, depopulation must be actively prevented and the local residents need to participate in the development of the resorts.
Last, in regards to the green-marketing of the resorts, green-image advertisements and marketing strategies have to be differentiated and emphasized to their visitors, and the development of resorts must be able to vitalize the local economy on the basis of environmentally friendly development.
