The purpose of this study was to address the competitive management of sport facilities. To optimize the number of sport staffs, regression models and index method were utilized. The regression models can estimate an optimal number of internal delegates of sport facilities. To complement the shortage of the regression models, the index method was introduced. The index method was to calculate optimal staffsof an organization compared with those of similar organizations, based on indicators representing the performance of organizations. With me index method, the number of intemal delegates employed by sport facilities was presented. Then total number of staffs was compared with the optimal number of sport staffs estimated by the regression models.
In conculsion, the regression models estimated 30.4 staffs as an optimal number for sport facilities, but index method calculated 31.69 for the optimal number based on managing areas per manager and total visiting people.
