This research sought to analyze TV news reception behavior and attitude, and reception profile levels. Thus, an analysis of the research results in line with hypotheses and research methods reached the following conclusion. First, the respondents' preference level was the highest with newspapers of sports media, followed by TV, Internet and magazines. Also, the older the respondents were, the greater their preference for TV was, and the higher education they had, the greater their preference for newspapers was. Also, males preferred newspapers, and females preferred TV. Second, males and females all preferred MBC sports news, respondents in their teens to 30s preferred MBC sports news, and respondents in their 40s to 50s preferred SBS sports wide. Third, regarding the purpose of accepting TV sports news, males sought information habitually and fun in this order, and females sought information, fun and dialogue, in this order. Likewise, respondents in their teens to 30s sought information, and respondents in their 40s to 50s sought fun. Also, respondents with education of elementary school, middle school and university, sought information, and respondents with education of high school (123 people or 31.8%) sought dialogue. Fourth, males took the greatest interest in overseas professional sports, and females, domestic professional sports. Likewise, respondents in their teens and 30s, took the greatest interest overseas professional sports, and respondents in their 20s, and 40s to 50s, domestic professional sports. Also, respondents with education of elementary school, middle school and university, took the greatest interest in overseas professional sports, and respondents with education of high school, domestic professional sports. Fifth, regarding the evaluation of public confidence in TV sports news, females, teens, and respondents with education of elementary and middle schools, gave the most positive marks to 'understanding,' and males, respondents in their 20s to 30s and respondents with education of university gave the most positive marks to core strength. Sixth, females, compared with males, made a positive evaluation of involvement, reliability level and satisfaction level. Likewise, respondents in their 40s to 50s showed a high level of involvement, and teens showed high levels of reliability, involvement and satisfaction. Also, respondents with education of elementary, middle and high schools, showed a high level of involvement. Seventh, males made a positive evaluation of contents, composition, and images of anchors, and females made a positive evaluation of linguistic signs. Likewise, teens made a positive evaluation of language and the image of composition, and respondents in their 20s to 50s made a positive evaluation of anchors. Also, respondents with education of high school made a positive evaluation of linguistic images. Still, respondents with education of elementary and middle schools made a positive evaluation of the image of composition, but made a negative evaluation of the image of anchors.
