Korea currently has the largest number of LPG vehicles in the World. Although the majority of LPG vehicles in Korea are using the mixer type fuel supply system, the fuel injection in an intake port with liquified phase is replacing the conventional mixer type. LPG injection with gaseous phase is also very promising to control emissions and enhance performance. Thus, studies have been carried out with gaseous injector for LPG fuel supply system. A measurement of injection amounts showed a slight variation of injected mass among injectors. Due to this, it may be necessary to reduce the variation of injected mass among injectors in order to meet the more stringent emission regulations. Since the injection amount of an LPG fuel is mainly related with pressure difference between the supplied fuel pressure and an ambient pressure, the flow path and orifices in a injector have been investigated and analyzed in this work to level the injected amount. Five orifices having various sectional areas show different characteristics of pressure drops depending on each orifice area. In this work, pressure variation through orifices with numerical method has been carried out, which wil be compared with the experimental result that is underway.
