Korea was ranked second to the top in terms of the number of LPG vehicles registered nationwide. And the state of the art technology on LPG fuel supply system of Korea is one of the best worldwide. Currently in many countries, the number of LPG vehicles are increasing and R&D on LPG vehicles are under way more actively than ever. The emissions from LPG vehicles are generally lower than from gasoline and diesel vehicles. Also LPG fueled vehicles have a potential to meet the next emission regulation such as SULEV. However. further studies with LPG fuel supply system are required to meet more strengthened emission regulation. In this study. an experiment was performed with gaseous LPG injecting system. In an injector. four orifices were varied to see its effect on reducing fluctuation of fuel injection amount. A result showed each orifice influences to the injection amount. Among them, the orifices D3 and D4 showed that they are under the influence of specific characteristics of flow rate. D3 and D4' diameters are relatively smaller than others, so their dimension was sensitive to injection amount, which implies that a better quality control on those specifications are necessary for more precise injection of LPG fuel.
