In this article, I intend to understand five poems of ‘Hyangakjabyoung’ differently according to focus on two things. First, five poems of ‘Hyangakjabyoung’ are to be understood not individually but together. Second, the contents reflected on this five poems can be related with the Sandaenori.
I divided the concrete discussions into three different parts. I attempted individual analysis about five poems and then compared ‘Hyangakjabyoung’ with Sandaenori from the viewpoint of corresponding relation of character & contents. proceeding of ‘Hyangakjabyoung’ & Sandaenori.
First, four poems of ‘Hyangakjabyoung’ except the first poem ‘Gumhuan’ were all guessed to use the mask. Especially, ‘Weoljun’ and Maldugi, ‘Daemyun’ and Chuibari are able to connect with each other.
Second, ‘Gumhuan’ is supposed to the same function as ‘Jookhuan’ of the Bamarioguangdae. So it is possible to play the opening role. The final role of the ‘Sanye’ is still descended through the Saja-guajang.
Third, the form of corresponding or connecting of each part can be proof the relation between ‘Hyangakjabyoung’ and Sandaenori.
Following the result, five poems of ‘Hyangakjabyoung’ should be shown not individually but together, and also it is reasonable that the tradition is considered for connecting with Sandaenori.
