Recently, a SHARP based on the Rolling Redevelopment Method(RRM) approach, known as better program to overcome those problems, was carried out at Sanggye-Changdong area in Seoul. This paper, as a case study, aims at analyzing the resettlement effects of the RRM approach in a SHARP from the resident's viewpoint.
The study consists of three parts. Part1(chapter2), explores the concept and types of RRM approach, comparison of the attributes between the types, and expected effects when the RRM approach is adopted and further replicated. Part2(chapter3), as the empirical analysis part, performs the case study of Sanggye-Changdong area which has been, in a strict sense, the first project that adopted the RRM approach in Seoul, and summarizes based on both the previous discussions and the empirical findings, the major suggestions to vitalize the RRM. Part3(chapter4), as a conclusion, summarizes the significant findings of previous parts.
