This thesis is aimed to review the procedure of the creation of 「Yu munseongjeon」 through a relationship between 「Yusaengjeon」, 「Bangssijeon」, and 「Yumunseongjeon」. In 「Yusaengjeon」 and 「Bangssijeon」, the customary practices shown in biographic novels were avoided and the ethical awareness was emphasized. Also, those books have a happy ending with the intervention of the transcendent being. This can be understood as the change of Jeon-gi novels in the later stage. In 「Yumunseongjeon」, the work was newly changed from the perspective of dual view toward a world while accepting the life-long composition of heroic novels. This can be found from hero’s way of life. A hero who had assumed a passive posture came to be confronted with a world and eventually won a victory over the world thanks to the working of the transcendent world In this procedure, a hero came to realize the order of heaven in the earth, and it is shown as the realization of God’s will in the works. The background of such transcendence might be related to the view toward a world of those enjoyed those novels. It might be a desire for an ideal world to be materialized in reality in the social chaos of the late Joseon period.
