The aim of this study is to look into the realization process of the divine revelation in Yu-mun-seoung-jeon(柳文成傳). The realization process of the divine revelation is the factor generally found in Zeokgangheoung heroic novel(謫降型 英雄 小說). This study focus on the point that the divine revelation produces different results in Yu-mun-seoung-jeon(柳文成傳) though it is the general factor of Zeokgangheoung heroic novel(謫降型 英雄 小說).
The hero's duty and his final goal in general Zeokgangheoung heroic novel(謫降型 英雄 小說) are to bring the irrational world to rights and return to the existing dynasty. However, this novel focuses on the point that the hero's act is not to return to the existing dynasty but to begin a new dynasty. The essential difference of the general Zeokgangheoung heroic novel(謫降型 英雄 小說) and Yu-mun- seoung-jeon(柳文成傳) is due to the difference of contents of the divine revelation that was given to the hero. The point of writer is not a formal revolution but the fundamental change that is the popular cherished desire.
This demanding of change is caused by the social reality in the middle of "Chosun" and the historical fact that worship "Myoung" and exclude "Chung".
