It has the significance as a ‘resistance literature’, ‘popular literature’ that 'pro democracy movement in Kwangju’, 5ㆍ18, 1980, even though it has been formed only a little author in Korean-literature history.
Unfortunately, we cannot help but recognizing that it hasn’t formed and grown to nation wide, general and popular literature in spite of its literature achievements.
It caused from that 5ㆍ18 novels hadn’t made popular concerns, consents.
Even if the transcendence of time and space Kwangju is alive as the present state all the time in literature. In this study, I intend to look over three horizon through Wow works It is as follows.
1. 「Arising Land」 written by Mun, Sun Tae : focused on what is considered on historical viewpoint.
2. 「A Piece of Flower decaying soundless」 written by Choi, Yun. : focused on its popular unity.
3. 「Whole Eternity」 written by Jung, Chan. : focused on that it shows to readers how to tieded over 5ㆍ18 Kwangju.
This consultation will provided a opportunity, in harmony of specificism and generalism about Kwangju that novels may contains.
