In this paper, I present the stages for teaching the declarative markers in Korean language teaching, in order to teach foreigners the markers efficiently. Namely, this research represents the markers of “Hasibsio-che” /“Haeyo-che”(‘che’ means form) in a beginner’s stage, the markers of “Hae-che” /“Haera-che” in an intermediate stage and the markers of “Hao-che” /“Hage-che”, which is not used frequently, in an advanced stage. This research divides Declarative Makers into three stages as following with this standard.
① Beginner’s stage : -(스)ㅂ니다, -아/어요
② Intermediate stage : -아/어, -(이)야, -지, -(ㄴ/는)다
③ Advanced stage : -(으)오, -네
Especially, ‘-(이)야, -지, -(ㄴ/는)다’ of ② among these three stages tended to ignore in Korean grammar education so this research suggests ‘-(이)야, -지, -(ㄴ/는)다’ of ② in a grammar category of a textbook in detail. It is not easy to say clearly because whether we teach grammar clearly or people can touch it naturally in a dialogue or a situation has something to do with teaching method. However, it is considered that it is effective to represent grammar in a grammar part of textbook rather than to make people touch it in a dialogue or a situation. Even though it is not easy to put vocabulary, items of grammar every stage or lesson without any problem, thoughtful consideration is required.
