The meaning and function of「Kongmudohaga」reflects something related to the death of human beings. For example, human beings are to die eventually. The death is a result of some causes. The survived family grieves and mourns, general people share with the grief and sorrow, and general people aid the process and ceremony of the funeral. However, the meaning and function of「Kongmudohaga」is not just restricted the death of men It also covers the birth of new life. In summary, the meaning and the function of「Gongmudohaga」is related to the life and death of human beings, as well as the principle, circulation and eternity of them.
They are all related with each other when looked at through identical perspective. That is to say, the meaning of love in「Hwangjoga」connotes affluence and prosperity and is foresee of new birth of life in「Gujiga」. The birth of life in「Gujiga」is a preliminary announcement of the death in「Kongmudohaga」. Because of a symbolic representation of water, and the meaning of roast to eat, and the fact that life always meets death is preliminary announcement of death. So, the three poems are linked with each other and they imply the prototype of basic life. In the end, the three poems deserve to survive now, and are worth of great value. Details remain to be explored further in future due to limited space.
