This research is mainly focused on the location of Taksunkuk(卓淳國), one of the Kaya Kingdoms and the base for the establishment of Taksunkuk by studying the previous political system in that area. The development of relationships with other countries, which became various during the Samkuk period is also studied in this research.
The dolmens, which were grouped densely around Dongeup(東邑), show that a political system existed around the Changwon Area. Jujomakuk had engaged in active trading with Hansagun and Wae in the south of Korean Peninsula through the Nakdong-River and Masan Bay since the first century B.C. before the inception of Kimhae Yandongri Group in the second century A.D.
Chanwon Jujomakuk could not develop into a big power based on two reasons. One of them is that it was defeated in the war of Posangpalkuk. The other reason is that it was located between Namgarakuk and Anrakuk, the two big powers. However, it succeeded in maintaining independence until the early sixth century through trading with Baekje, Wae, Shilla, Namgarakuk, Allakuk and Kalakuk, using its geographical advantage. Taksunkuk's foreign relationships with neighboring countries are only to be concluded based on the excavated remains from ancient tombs in the Changwon area, at Dahori, at Samdongdong, at Kaeumjeongdong, at Dokyedong, at Bankyedong, and in Taksunkuk, despite the fact that historical books hardly give any evidence for the foreign relationships of Taksunkuk.
