Purpose: This study was to examine ego-identity, interpersonal relations ability, and adjustment of nursing students in an effort to identify the correlation between them. Methods: The subjects in this study were 400 nursing students. The instruments used in this study were Park's(2003) Korean-version ego-identity inventory, Moon's(1980) interpersonal relationship change scale and Jung's(1998) home and school adjustment inventory. Data was analyzed using SPSS/PC+. Results: The findings of the study were as follows: As for connections between general characteristics, ego-identity and their motivation for choosing nursing, the students who chose their major on their own were the best in that regard. School adjustment, and ego-identity was high among those who lived in a lodging house or dormitory(F=4.01, p<.05) and who chose their major on their own(F=4.88, p<.01). In addition, those with better ego-identity were better at interpersonal relations and adjustments. Conclusion: Further studies are needed for concrete nursing interventions to enhance ego-identity, interpersonal relations ability, and adjustment of students.
