The narrative A woodcutter and a fairy has shown two characters of being civil tale or not being civil tale. The reason of being civil tale is that usual characters have appeared with no evidence being presented and it has intended for fancy, while the reason of not being civil tale is that a symmetrical world view makes cohere group consciousness such as a totemic world view, a horizontal universe view and an outlook on marriage of god and man and then looks out over all the whole of creation from the viewpoint of the universe.
Ultimately, in the narrative A woodcutter and a fairy several pieces of tales get mixed which are civil tale or not one. It should be regarded that if one narrative alternates in contents by each piece, folklore successors having a different consciousness have started a dispute with one another. When examining the disputing aspects of the folklore successors, it’s found that a woodcutter is the person professing himself to be an idealist, or else to be a realist. Here, it becomes possible to point out that a successor imports his idealistic or realistic attitude toward life in the name of the woodcutter.
