By this time, we saw suppressed females in the San-but and Dal-jib. The concern of 'Cha Beum-seok' and 'Roh Gyeong-sik' is the native females who were sacrificed by war. The work San-bul has a story which contains suppression of sexual in the country where there are many absences of sacrificed husbands. '사월' does significant of sexual appetite. Meanwhile '점례', doesn't. But after she meet '규복', she expresses her sexuality. At this time, the way that they make a love is based on love. Meanwhile '사월' rapes '규복' who has unnatural about radius of action and a social position as a communist. She kills herself owing to pregnant which is not result of love but rape. As their tragedy commonly appears in the war literary, this tragedy is derived from adaptive action to appetite not sacrificer of huge violent.
Meanwhile in the Dal-jib, three generation of female is sacrificed by violent rape of males. Among three generation of female, a daughter-in-law and a wife of the her grandson who are raped by soldiers choose suicide. But actually, the society is force to suicide which is not selection but essence for them. Especially, we can see a patriarch vision as a paine of view that are forced to die the same females not males, also they are forced to die themselves. This is because purity of female acts as means to keep legitimate of nation and their family.
The females are idealized and be a circumference by the vision of a middle-aged male and their reappearance about korea females. Even though this novel deals with a life of females, upon actual investigation it doesn't deal with female's inner thought but male's value through females. In conclusion, the suppression of females in this two works is not described by a female's eye but a male writer.
