The conclusion of the comparative research on garments materials between the Ancient Joseon(Go - Joseon, 古朝鮮) people and the tribes of northern part of the Ancient Joseon including Chinese. In the Ancient Joseon, people skillfully processed animal leather and traded them to China. The quality of the processed leather was well known to Chinese that the leather was one of the leading goods traded to China. The comparative study on hemp between China and the Ancient Joseon shows that Ancient Joseon started producing hemp goods earlier than China and kept producing high levels of linens, a foundation of their economy. According to Ancient documents and archaeological excavation, Ancient Korea raised the silkworm and weaved cloth out of the silkworm thread beginning Neolithic age as China did. It logically indicates that Chinese embellished the old stories that Gi Ja(箕子) brought sericulture to Korea from China and put the story in Dongyi Liezhuan(東夷列傅) in Hou Han Shu(後漢書) in order to praise Gi Ja(箕子). The comparative research on
silk cloth in Nakrang area and China proves that the silk cloth excavated in the Dae - Dong River area is the product of the Ancient Joseon. The research automatically makes the traditional theory doubtful that PyongYang belonged to Nakrang- Gun(樂浪郡) of Hansa - Gun(~(漢四郡). The ancient Korea produced elaborate cotton textile with raw cotton indigenous to the area. The existence of cotton goods in Ancient Joseon proves that the history of cotton in Korea did not get started from Mun Ik jeom, who were known to have brought cotton seed to Korea from China. Korean people had been producing various cotton goods since a spindle whorl indigenous to Ancient Joseon, a significant tool in making textile from Neolithic age to Iron age is distinguishable in its ingraved patterned design from the spindles in China and the northern part of the Ancient Joseon. Along with the excavation of bipa - shaped bronze daggers, narrow bronze daggers, bronze daggers, and ingraved patterned pottery, the use of spindle whorl adds one more proof to the theory that the Ancient Joseon ruled from Manchuria over to Korean peninsular as their territory. In conclusion, the garments materials in the Ancient Joseon people was indigenous to the area, and the quality of the cloth they produced was superior to the ones in China and the northern part of the Ancient Joseon.
