Kang Gyung- Ae is a woman novelist who wrote many novels in the 1930's. The problem in the treatise is the idealism from her novels. Studies until now evaluates that Kang Gyung- Ae has lost hope throughout the novels that she wrote after the ''InganMunje". Therefore it showed us an unhappy ending. But instead the novels that has been written after the "InganMunje" is mainly focused on the fact if it has escape from the idealism in her novels that she wrote from before. It just might be that the novels shows us realism instead.
We can see that there has been changes made in the novels after the "InganMunje". The changes show that she has overcome the idealism in her novels. Also she has described the realities of life in a cold way. This is a reason why her stories ended negatively. Kang Gyung- Ae has understood the realities in life as itself because her importances based on experience not on idealism. This can be proved by some of these reasons. First, the endings in her novels shows reality rather than finishing the story as how it should have ended. Secondly, the gender problem is thought just as a gender problem, not a problem of class. At last it can be seen as a trouble against the character's mentality rather than the confrontation between characters and exterior circumstances. This is only because Kang Gyung- Ae describes the reality just as the way it is than describing the ideal that must exist. These features are possible since Kang Gyung- Ae has overcame from the impractical idealism from the novels before.
