This study examines the size of Gyung-ro-dang in Kwangju
area with special emphasis on the size planning. We focus
on the average size and composition ratio and attempt to
construct data base occording to the typologies in the
preceeding researches. The major findings of this study
can be summarized as follows.
1. In terms of average size, LT type exclusively for man
and woman is 50m2, while mixed type is 72m2, LTK type
exclusively for man and woman is 56m2 where as mixed type
is 78m2. In general, mixed type is larger than that
exclusively for man and woman as 22m2.
2. In terms of average size of leisure room, mixed LTtype
is 59.7m2, while mixed LTK type is 60m2, LT type exclusive
for woman is 41.1m2, while that for mixed type is 42m2,
Lttype exclusive for man is 35.2m2 and that of LTK is 38.7m2.
The composition ratio is almost the same (75%) regardless of
the types.
