본 연구는 부산지역 특급호텔에 종사하는 종사원 중 특히 식음료 종사원을 대상으로 내부마케팅과 직무만족, 직무몰입 및 고객지향성 간의 관계를 분석하여 호텔을 이용하는 고객들의 고객지향성을 제고시킬 수 있는 방안을 제시함으로써 이를 통해 호텔기업의 이익을 극대화하고자 하는데 연구의 의의를 가진다.
본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 기존의 선행 문헌연구와 실제 실증연구 등을 병행하여 특급호텔의 내부마케팅, 직무만족, 직무몰입 및 고객지향성 등의 선행 자료 및 연구를 통해 연구 개념을 정립하였다. 또한, 국내외 논문과 관련 서적, 통계자료 등을 바탕으로 관련 연구변수들 간의 관계를 도출하여 연구모형 및 연구가설을 설정하였고, 선행 문헌연구를 근거로 하여 측정척도를 도출하고 설문을 구성하였는데, 각각의 영향관계를 규명하기 위하여 부산지역에 종사하는 특급 호텔 종사원을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다.
본 연구의 결과를 살펴보면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 내부마케팅이 직무만족에 영향을 미칠 것이라는 가설에서 내부마케팅 요소 중 권한위임, 교육훈련, 보상제도가 직무만족에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 내부마케팅이 직무몰입에 영향을 미칠 것이라는 가설에서 내부마케팅 요소 중 권한위임, 교육훈련, 보상제도가 직무몰입에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 내부마케팅이 고객지향성에 영향을 미칠 것이라는 가설에서 내부마케팅 요소 중 권한위임, 교육훈련, 보상제도가 고객지향성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 직무만족이 직무몰입에 영향을 미칠 것이라는 가설에서 직무만족이 직무몰입에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 직무만족이 고객지향성에 영향을 미칠 것이라는 가설에서 직무만족이 고객지향성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 여섯째, 직무몰입이 고객지향성에 영향을 미칠 것이라는 가설에서 직무몰입이 고객지향성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
