The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of internal motivation in creative dance classes using the SCAMPER technique on expressiveness and creativity. To achieve this purpose, the subjects of the study were 214 students in total, 102 male students and 112 female students in the second year of B Middle School in Jeollabuk-do. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 29.0 for frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis (EFA), reliability analysis, descriptive statistics analysis, correlation analysis, independent sample t-test, and regression analysis.
As a result, first, among the general characteristics of students participating in creative dance classes using the Scamper technique, male students showed significantly higher intrinsic motivation than female students, and there was no significant difference in expressiveness between genders, while male students showed significantly higher creativity than female students.
Second, intrinsic motivation was found to have a significant positive effect on expressiveness. That is, as intrinsic motivation increased, expressiveness increased.
Third, intrinsic motivation was found to have a significant positive effect on creativity. That is, as intrinsic motivation increased, creativity increased.
