The purpose of this study is to suggest a new park with arts & culture complex that promotes regional revitalization while preserving the historical and cultural values of Marronnier Park. The concept of this project is “Mid Spiral.” symbolizing the formation of a society centered around a massive whirlpool. This project includes a spiral-shaped small theater and a sunken exhibition space, along with comfortable relaxation areas, allowing artists to freely create and providing opportunities for communication and collaboration. Additionally, these spaces will serve as venues for local residents to enjoy cultural leisure activities. This arts & culture complex park that integrates the region’s history, the park, and cultural arts. So, the remodeling of Marronnier Park provides a foundation for offering a new cultural experience to local residents and visitors. This project contributes not only to the local economy but also to the revitalization of the cultural arts ecosystem. It focuses on fostering inspiration for artists and creating spaces for local residents. By offering various spaces for artists active in Daehak-ro, as well as for visitors and local residents, this project is expected to contribute to regional revitalization and the development of artistic culture.
