PURPOSE : His study focuses on “Post-90s” women in Nanjing, aiming to explore the primary factors influencing their sports consumption behavior. Based on the Howard-Sheth model, a theoretical framework was constructed, including external factors, stimulus factors, consumption motivation, and sports consumption behavior.
METHODS : The study collected data from 480 questionnaires, ultimately selecting 436 valid samples, and utilized SPSS 27.0 for exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis.
RESULTS : Results indicate that consumption motivation has a significantly positive impact on sports consumption behavior. Additionally, stimulus factors such as product quality, price, advertising, and surrounding atmosphere positively affect consumption motivation, while only economic factors among the external variables influence consumption motivation. Time pressure and sports culture showed no significant effects.
CONCLUSIONS : The study’s conclusions provide insights into effectively stimulating women’s sports consumption motivation, suggesting improvements in product quality, advertising, and surrounding atmosphere to further promote the development of the women’s sports consumption market.
