The demand for energy calculation of existing building to reduce carbon emissions from buildings is increasing. The ISO 52000 series specifies the overall building energy analysis method, and the EN 16798-13 standard presents a final cooling energy calculation method in the building energy analysis ISO 52000 series. In particular, it presents a monthly method algorithm including a monthly part-load value and a monthly corrected EER (Energy Efficiency Ratio). According to EN 16798-13 standard, there are technical items that affect the final cooling energy of air-cooled chillers. This study examined the range of influence on final cooling energy for each of the four technical items targeting Hwa-gok 119 Center building. The influence of the corrected EER due to outdoor temperature change in the range of -1℃ to 4℃ was evaluated, and the effect of the final cooling energy when installed generator cooling power (from 0% to 300%) increases compared to the maximum cooling load was analyzed. The control option and compressor type were evaluated to determine how much influence they have on final cooling energy, and finally the effect of multiple generators on final cooling energy when cooling generators with different power are installed. Through this analysis, it is possible to evaluate the effect on final cooling energy and distinguish the importance of technical items. In other words, the goal is to help establish a strategy for technical methodology to reduce final cooling energy and thus reduce carbon emissions when remodeling building.
