This study examines the headwear, belts, necklaces, earrings, and bracelets of the Ara Gaya, focusing on artifacts excavated from the Haman region. Two headwear are known to be daegwan(帶冠), but the one excavated from Tomb No. 45 of Malisan is not a daegwan strictly and appears to be a decoration on headwear. In addition, the headwear excavated from Tomb No. 45 of Malisan, which has a pattern combining a square and two birds, is likely a unique style of Ara Gaya headwear, as it has not yet been found in neighboring countries. The headwear excavated from the Amgagwha tomb is a metal headband-shaped headwear worn in the Gimhae and Hapcheon regions. Five belts were excavated, each exhibiting a distinct shape. One aligns with the Silla style, two with the Jin style, yet a unified, standardized style seems to have eluded development. As only a single example of each shape was recovered, future excavations will be crucial to unravel their genealogical relationships. Other accessories examined included necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. Ara Gaya was characterized by pairing gold earrings with bead necklaces, while bracelets were less common. A notable characteristic is a preference for gold and silver precious metals in hats and earrings and the favoured use of beads in necklaces. Most earrings were simple, thin rings, but some featured metal hanging decorations, a distinctive Ara Gaya trait. The combination of gold earrings and bead necklaces was unique to this region. This study provides foundational data for restoring Ara Gaya costumes and paves the way for future explorations of this previously neglected aspect of Ara Gaya culture.
