The Effect of Self-Coaching Competency on Innovative Behavior of College Students Majoring in Dance Ha Eun Park(Kyung Hee university) Young Mi Kim (Kyung Hee university) The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of self-coaching competency on innovative behaviors that are essential for career development in order to foster the future of dance major students who can cope with the Fourth Industrial Revolution. For this purpose, a questionnaire survey was conducted on four-year college students majoring in dance across the country, and the results derived from statistical analysis using the SPSS 22.0 program are as follows. First, the difference in self-coaching competency and innovative behavior was verified according to the general characteristics of dance major students. As a result, there was a significant difference in both gender and dance career except grade and major. Second, as a result of analyzing the correlation between major variables, there was a significant positive correlation with the sub-factors constituting the variables in the correlation between self-coaching competency and innovative behavior.Third, self-coaching competency was found to have a significant positive effect on innovative behavior.
