This study aimed to interpret Paris's distinctive style through theories in the plastic arts, identifying five critical aspects of his work. First, is his characteristic use of distinctive line expression. Second, geometric forms play a prominent role, as he conveys messages by crafting fashionable figures and representing them through geometric shapes. Third, vibrant color contrasts are a defining feature, adding visual interest. Fourth, his multi-layered compositions stand out, with Paris exploring collage techniques by overlapping materials, emphasizing diversity through his handcrafted approach. Finally, there is a captivating use of contrasting composition, where bold and dramatic arrangements create an illusion of perspective and introduce unexpected divisions across the canvas. The aesthetic characteristics of Piet Paris's creative style include flatness, tension, exaggeration, and minimalism. Flatness removes the illusion of depth by disregarding traditional artistic perspectives. Tension emerges as a visual stimulus through the harmonious interplay of shapes and lines. Exaggeration is conveyed by reduction, omission, sharp angles, and swelling forms. Minimalism distills emotions into abstract expressions, departing from realistic representation.
