This article examines the historical war between Korea and Japan, focusing on the Korean Provisional Government(大韓民國臨時政府). and Park Eun-sik(朴殷植) Research on Japanese power and Korean historical awareness, as well as research analyzing historical narratives about Yi Sun-sin(李舜臣), have accumulated many achievements. Based on the previous studies, I focused on the historical war between Korea and Japan, which has been neglected. I summarized the trend of writing about Yi Sun-sin in Korea and Japan at the end of the 19th century and the current status of history book compilation. Among them, we examined the background and meaning of Park Eun-sik's Yi Sun-sin. Next, we analyzed the activities of the Korean Provisional Government that initiated the Korean War, specifically the meaning of the inclusion of Yi Sun-sin in the Korean Liberation Army's publications. The historical war fought by the Korean Provisional Government 100 years ago has not yet ended. The historical war is an ongoing process that will never end between Korea and Japan.
