Recent advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) technology are expanding its application across various academic disciplines, including spatial design education, which is expected to undergo significant changes due to the integration of these technologies. This study aims to explore innovative approaches in design education by examining the impact of AI on the generation of design concepts and the learning process of undergraduate students. The research focuses on analyzing methods to facilitate the process of concept generation in design projects by integrating AI programs into spatial design education. Specifically, it emphasizes how AI tools enhance creativity and produce effective learning outcomes in the design process. The research methodology includes a literature review to investigate the relationship between AI and design education, and an analysis of case studies on the adoption of AI in spatial design. The study documents the changes in the learning process of students within the educational curriculum. Consequently, the findings suggest potential opportunities and directions for integrating AI into educational curricula, benefiting educators and curriculum developers. The transformation in education through AI optimizes the satisfaction of interactive communication between educators and learners, as well as the learners" perceived visual improvements.
