Due to a sharp increase in the number of migrant workers and married immigrant women over the last decade, South Korea is confronted with the task of integrating migrants in its society. Thus, the primary purpose of this research is to examine the role of sport clubs as an important arena for social integration of migrants in South Korea based on the case of German integration policies such as the "Integration through sport." In short, our results indicate that most importantly, a national plan, designed to provide a framework to guide the action required at national level and to promote and support effective implementation locally, should be established. Our findings also illustrate that policies related with fostering sport clubs need to be stipulated in the law and accordingly, the existing sport clubs should be registered as non-profit organizations. Moreover, supporting clubs in charge of the social integration mission particularly should be set up; and sport facilities need to be expanded to increase people''s accessibility. Staff, instructors, or volunteers with the same migrant background are to be placed in order to create a migrant friendly environment as well. Finally, it is necessary to develop more sport programs customized specifically to migrants'' needs and use internet-based marketing tools including social network media strategically.
