This study aims to examine the post-war perceptions of Yoon Hak-ja and Kunita Fusako, focusing on their activities in Korea after 1945. This study starts from the assumption that individual post-war experiences do not necessarily align with the conventional concept of "post-war" as defined by previous researchers, and that new turning points of the era can be discovered within each person"s perception of the post-war period. As a result, the post-war perceptions of these two individuals demonstrated that the transition between pre-war and post-war periods can be distinguished through the beginning of a new life and the turning points in their future lives. Yoon Hak-ja recognized the post-war period by deciding to live becoming Korean, Yoon Hak-ja, instead of the Japanese, Tauchi Chizuko, upon the liberation of Korea on August 15, 1945. Such a turning point was influenced by Christian sense of vocation. On the other hand, for Kunita, the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Korea on June 23, 1965, marked the end of the prewar period, which had been a time of hiatus, and the beginning of the postwar era. And a turning point in her life as a Japanese woman living in Korea was her activities through the "Bu-yong-hoe".
