The global OTT market has grown rapidly as COVID-19 has been prolonged and people have been avoiding face-to-face contact. The OTT industry is growing steadily, but there is a lack of content related to traditional culture. In Korea, content centered on K-pop and drama is rapidly spreading around the world, but it is difficult to find content related to Korea''s traditional culture. With the increasing number of multi-cultural families, foreign residents, and foreign tourists, there is a growing interest in Korean culture and arts, but there is a lack of systematic and relevant education on Korean traditional culture and arts. This study aims to develop a design based on Korean traditional culture and arts, and through this, it aims to increase interest in Korean culture by conveying traditional Korean humanities stories in the design along with visual interest. It also aims to develop various contents related to Korean traditional culture. First, literature and papers related to cultural arts education were investigated. Traditional culture and art education sites were investigated online and offline. The numbers and qualities of educations about traditional culture and arts, subject, region, form, and target were analyzed, and the necessity of education on traditional culture and arts was derived. Second, a mini-note design was developed by selecting 5 items of Hangeul, Hanbok, Taegeukgi, Ilwolobongdo, and Taekwondo. Third, the development of mini note package design was completed. The mininote design developed in this study will serve as basic educational material that can be used to develop traditional Korean content while learning and experiencing Korean traditional culture and arts in various fields. This can be a meaningful study that has the potential to continue developing designs that are linked to traditional culture and arts.
