This study investigates the perceptions and attitudes of Korean college students towards English euphemistic expressions. A survey was conducted among Korean students attending a university in Daegu, South Korea. The results indicated that there is a notable demand for further education on euphemistic expressions. Respondents emphasized the need to learn more about these expressions due to their usefulness in improving persuasive abilities, enhancing presentation skills, and better comprehending written materials. The findings underscore the importance of incorporating euphemistic expressions into English curricula, focusing on practical applications in real-world contexts. This research provides valuable insights for educators and curriculum designers, aiming to equip Korean college students with the necessary language skills for effective communication in diverse global professional settings.
