After the post-COVID-19 era, modern society has undergone many social, historical, and environmental changes. Changes in school facilities are also indispensable in a rapidly changing modern society where one cannot foresee the future. According to social changes in modern society, social demands for school facilities can be largely divided into social changes,periodic changes, and environmental changes. Social changes include the demand for securing school building safety, changesin awareness of improving the educational environment, and demand for future school transitions such as not only learning butalso play, rest, balance, and a digital environment. It is necessary to expand the importance of the central criterion and changethe paradigm of school space composition (user participation design), and environmental changes are caused by external factorssuch as fine dust and ozone layer destruction. It is necessary to secure space, and as an internal factor, the need forchanges in the future school space is emerging in accordance with the 2022 revised curriculum conversion and high schoolinnovation based on the high school credit system. In accordance with these social demands, school facilities also need acomprehensive judgment standard for objective and reasonable evaluation of various requirements of existing school facilities ina situation where the level of school facilities that comply with them and the demand for improvement are considered important. Therefore, we would like to present our opinions on the need for evaluation and comprehensive judgment standards for futureschool facility improvement from various angles according to social change with the following topic.
