Yangyang East Sea Shrine(東海神廟) was a national ritual facility before modern times. Currently, Jeongjeon(正殿) has been restored, but its location has been restored away from the existing site, raising problems in its authenticity. In order to overcome these problems, this study conducted historical data and supervised research for humanities research. In addition, the current status analysis and excavation survey data of the remaining architecture were closely reviewed. For the future maintenance plan, the estimated layout was derived by comparing and analyzing the name and size of the East Sea Shrine building described in the literature and the arrangement and location of the remains according to the excavation survey. As a result of studying the architectural arrangement, Jeongjeon(正殿) shows a different southeast-facing arrangement from the existing south-facing. In addition, it could be estimated that it consists of four architectural groups, including Jeongjeon, a gatehouse consisting of a ghost gate(神門) and Dongjae and Seojae(東․西齋), Jeonsacheong(典祀廳) Office, and the main gate. In addition, for the authenticity and completeness of the restoration of cultural heritage, the direction of improvement was proposed for the necessity of further excavation of surrounding areas, restoration of annexed buildings, and linkage with surrounding cultural heritage and tourism facilities.
